All About Brows!

Brow Bars, Brow Lifts, Full Brows, Shaped Brows, it can be tough to keep up!
However, our brows are the frame to our face so it's important to make sure they look good.
2016 seems to be the year of the full brows yet many are left uncertain of how to achieve these beautifully bushy brows. Here are a few tips

1. Always seek a Professional if you're not confident with your skills! Brows can be tough but no one wants to end up with horrible brows, there is NO hiding them.
2. Be sure to prep and clean the area, before and after tweezing. This helps keep bacteria at bay and also calms skin.
3. Keep your tweezers clean!
4. Invest in the proper tools. Having a sharp pair of tweezers, small scissors and angled brush can help you achieve your desired look.
5. Step back an observe as you go. It is difficult to see ourselves objectively when we are staring close up for too long.
6. They are Sisters, not Twins! They should look alike but don't need to be perfectly identical
7. If needed, put some color on them. Use a pencil or powder (with stiff, angled eye brush)
8. Consider brow extensions! Seek a professional salon like Awesome Nails and have brow fillers applied (similar to eyelash extensions)
9. Use a magnifying mirror to really see what your doing, we recommend at least 5X magnified
10. The beginning of the brow should align with the edge of the nostril. The arch of the brow should fall at the back third of the eye. The eyebrow should follow the length of the eye but it shouldn't extend into the temple area
